The orphan problem

Humanoid robotics is reaching viability. Hardware companies are building bodies. AI labs are building models. But the system that governs how embodied intelligence behaves — in shared human spaces, under uncertainty, when things go wrong — remains underdeveloped.

Bodies will commoditise. Models will commoditise. But governance of embodied intelligence will not. That middle layer is where liability lives, where regulation lands, and where public trust is won or lost.

What Cardana Frontier is

Frontier takes world-class language models and teaches them how to operate safely inside humanoid systems — shaping decision-making, memory, autonomy limits, escalation, and human override. Independent of the robot's physical body. Independent of the underlying model.

We do not build hardware. We do not build foundation models. We do not pursue artificial consciousness. Our sole focus is governed, human-compatible cognition for humanoid-style robots operating in real-world environments.

The Analogy

If the robot's hardware is the body and its foundation model is the engine, Cardana Frontier builds the ECU and central nervous system combined: the layer that decides how power is expressed, when to act, when to stop, and when to hand control back to a human.
